Nice to Know You

Performance at the University of Texas in Austin with Jeanie Crosby. We cut off all lines of communication with the exception of 3 1/2 hour time frame (8a, 12n & 6p) where we would write out everything we wanted to say to each other. There was a talk bubble that each of us could see, then thought bubbles behind us that only her or I could see, along with the audience. The task was labourious, tedious and somewhat menacing because written text could be misinterpreted. Since there was no voice inflection a simple sentence could be taken for being malicious and hateful.
